Day 12

Today we drove from Niagara to Vermont. The scenery along the drive got even better as we drove into Vermont. We took photos along the way but even the best photo cannot do it justice. The scenery is something that needs to be seen first hand.

Enroute, we stopped at the "Crowley Cheese Farm" in Healdville Vermont. This is the oldest cheese maker in the US. They are a small cheese maker and every step in the process is still done by hand. There is no machinery used. They even occupy the same building that was built in 1882.

After arriving at the "Tree Farm RV Park" in Springfield Vermont, we drove to Weston Vermont and did a little shopping at the "Vermont Country Store". They have just about everything you could think of. They have candies products from the past and just about any gizmo for the house. If you get a chance, check out their web site at www.vermontcountrystore.com After shopping, we had a nice dinner at the "Bryant House Restaurant" which is part of the store. The food was great!

We got an awesome camp site that was large and completely surrounded by trees. Very beautiful park.

The store looks small on the outside but inside you could shop for hours.
