Today with the weather being so nice, we decided to drive up to the "Billings Family Farm" in Woodstock Vermont. This a farm that has been in operation since 1805. It was first owned by the George Marsh Family from 1805 to 1869 when the Farm was purchased by Frederick Billings. The farm was owned by 3 generations of Billings'. In 1934, Fredericks granddaughter Mary French married Laurance Rockefeller (of the really rich Rockefeller family) and occupied the mansion up until 1997 when it was donated to the National Parks and then opened up to the public. It is still a working farm with about 550 acres.
I love all the pictures :) My desktop on my computer has never looked so good. Even though it was 80 degrees today here in Temecula, at least I can look at my desktop and be reminded it's Fall...somewhere :). I hope you guys are having fun. Love you!
