Today we drove over to the Canadian side of the falls. This view was 10 times better than the American side. We walked the boardwalk from one end of the viewing area to the other, a 10 mile trek (OK, maybe it was a mile).
Just a side note, somehow we forgot to bring our passports so we had Sues sister Terry FedEx them overnight to us. Thank you Terry!
Sue and I took a 20 minute tour of "Behind the Falls". They dug tunnels to view the backside of the falls. Not a whole lot to see but it was fun.
We decided to wait until dark to take photos of the falls when they illuminate the falls with different color lights from the Canadian side. They have been lighting the falls since 1924.
With darkness about 2 hours away, we decide to eat dinner in the Skylon Tower. What a view, we were about 500' up with a window seat overlooking the falls. The dinner was expensive but well worth it. We highly recommend it.
If you see any photos you really like, I can send you the full size image. All the ones on this Blog have been reduced in resolution. You can click on any of the photos for a slightly bigger view.
That's it for now. If we can find a high speed connection, I will upload a bunch more photos.
Thanks for looking,
Vern & Sue

This is the Skylon Tower. It is 775' above the falls. What an awesome view.
